Hi,

I find the current CVS emails really useful when updates happen. I know
with git (and Github in particular) it's perhaps easier to know what's
changed, not everyone follows Github or users in a way that's useful to
them.

So I've made use of Github's webservice hooks to email out a git log of
changes when pushes are made to the 'master' branch only. I think
that's the most useful branch to monitor on a public list---if we decide
to have longer-running topic branches then I can always update the hook
to reflect this.

It's currently running on my server (xteddy.org)---which is very
under-powered, so I'll have to monitor this to ensure I don't start to
rack up any odd VM usages, etc., as a result of this.

We'll have to keep an eye on it to ensure we don't get anything odd
coming from it.

Hope you find it useful.
