Hi, I've sent this patch in October 2004, but as Dominik was busy it just ended in mailing list archives. As it is not a big change in fvwm, and it can break any existing correct configuration, and it adds some IMHO useful functionality I'm sending it once again with hope it can be marged into main fvwm.
This patch ads new test-condition to the Test function named Compare. With it one can do simple comparisions of numbers or strigs without using PipeRead and shell subprocesses. This could be very handy in conditional configuration (a simple if-else is possible with it). The patch is based on an already exsiting Version option, so should be safe. It contains man page update with explanation how to use the added functionality. I realy hope it could be marged into main fvwm. PS. The atached patch is for cvs version from October 2004, but it should cleanly update current sources too (without ChangeLog part of course). -- Rafal Bisingier
