Hello, The mdk package has been builded with Mandrake 7.x. You may try to use the rh7 package or the fvwm-2.4.3-1.i386.rpm package on your Mandrake. But, I am almost sure that the problem come from elsewhere: read question 0.1 and 5.5 of the fvwm FAQ (Probably your NumLock, CapsLock or ScrollLock key is pressed with Mandrake and not with RedHat).
