Fixed with the next releases (2.4.5/2.5.0) or tomorrow's snapshot. I tested this with Ddd, but I'm quite sure the fix helps with other apps too. 'Fix' may not be the correct word since its more a hack and the applications are broken in the first place. For some reason they lose track of their internal focused sub window if they do not continually get the focus again and again. If that does not solve your problem, please report back.
