Of course the main purpose of my request was to have an exapmle of
colorset usage in Perl. But if it is evolved into interactive tool to
change colorsets using a dialog box, it would be nice to have too.

As for the tool that shows colorsets just like they should look, here is
an FvwmButtons configuration. Save the attached file and execute:

  FvwmButtons Dummy /real/path/to/FvwmButtons-ShowColorsets
