Subject: FvwmTaskBar mail check: make fg/bg color of pixmap in "new mail" state
configurable

Full_Name: Alexander Becher
Version: 2.4.19

OS: NetBSD 2.0

Submission from: (NULL) (134.130.4.46)

The FvwmTaskBar module displays the mail pixmap with a white background
and a black foreground when there is new mail. These colours are
hardcoded. Which is unfortunate, if one happens to have these colours
configured for the TaskBar, making new mail and old mail
indistinguishable.

I have a written a patch for FVWM 2.4.19, available at

http://www-users.kawo2.rwth-aachen.de/~abecher/fvwm-mailnew-colour.patch

that adds a new configuration option. I have tried to copy most of the
code from the handling of the Tips{Fore,Back,Colorset} options.
