$ ls -R /etc/xdg/menus
/etc/xdg/menus:
applications-merged      kde-information.menu
xfce-applications.menu gnome-applications.menu
lxde-applications.menu        xfce-settings-manager.menu
kde-4-applications.menu  lxlauncher-applications.menu

/etc/xdg/menus/applications-merged:
electronics.menu  zeroinstall.menu
