I want to apologize publicly to myself for breaking my own rule.
Nowadays life rhythm make people to suffer what I call the anti-unix
syndrome, they try to do at the same time lot of things, more than they
can. They live stressed, they never have time. Let me use a hyperbole
to signify the consequence of that syndrome with software development: I
value reliability over all, so I tend to use barely maintained or even
abandoned software.
I am not a developer but I am prolific writing shell scripts for admin
tasks. I do know how easy is to add bugs while adding or modifying
code, especially in a hurry. Some times I get enthusiastic in taking
part of some free software project (I have some C bases) but the
environment I find in mailing lists discourages me. In part is my
personal problem, I am too "human" for how people connect nowadays.
The above considerations have made me have for rule to /never ask
developers for features/; asking for IconManSelectButton I break myself
my own rule and what it's worse I did it with a reliable software like
FVWM is.
My apologizes to you too. From now I will understand and double value
your silence and your inaction.
Walter
