I have used nm-applet with fvwm in the past, but it's been a while. I started it initially with this: + I Test (Init) Schedule 2000 Exec nm-applet And you can swallow it into a fvwm button with this: *FvwmButtons (Swallow (NoClose, UseOld) "stalonetray" `Exec stalonetray & nm-applet`) You need to install stalonetray.
