Hello,
I have a simple clock applet and a battery applet written in
FvwmScript. The scripts are very simple, just a call to date or acpi
every xx seconds and display the result. I attach the clock as an
example.
The problem comes when starting the computer again after a software
suspend (the one in the linux kernel, no special acpi modes).
Sometimes the scripts do not get updated any more. I tried to
determine the conditions when it stops working, but I did not find
any clear causes. Sometimes they even start working again after a
second swsuspend. I expect this to be due to some signals not being
sent or something similar, but I don't know where to look for. The
rest of fvwm (and other programs) don't have any problems.
My fvwm version is 2.5.14, Ubuntu packaged (but had the same problem
when I had Debian installed).
Best regards,
David
