You can try setting the environment variable (bash syntax):

   export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome

to use gtk colors from ~/.gtkrc (~/.gtkrc-2.0) or 

   export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde

to use kde colors. I have got 

   SetEnv OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP gnome

in my fvwm config file which makes this variable available
in all processes started by fvwm.
