I recently copied my fvwm config files from my ubuntu laptop to my debian
sarge destop. Both systems run the same version of fvwm (2.5.12) but on
my debian system I loose all my bindings (mouse, keyboard, buttons) after
a period of time. I haven't been able to tie the bindings dissapearing
to any particular event and have no idea where to begin with debugging
my config files.
The only think I can think of that is different between the installs
is that on the Ubuntu box I had installed fvwm-themes then derived my
config files from themes to the point where all I was using from themes
was a few icons and the fvwm-themes-root program. On the Debian Box I
had copied my config directory over then insalled fvwm-themes because
the background wasn't right.
Restarting fvwm doesn't fix the problem. I have to completely restart
X to get the bindings back.
Any help?
thanks

See FAQ entry #0.1:
http://fvwm.org/documentation/faq/#0.1
you are probably using numlock on your stationary computer, wheras it's
not convinient to do so with a laptop keayboard. You would probably then
do with "IgnoreModifiers 2" in your config.
