I am trying to get iconified apps (the IconBox) on a lower layer than the rest of my apps. The reason I want this is so that when I middle-click on applications to lower them, the iconified apps won't appear. I was able to achieve the effect with the help of Thomas Adam in the following way:
http://fvwm.lair.be/viewtopic.php?p=5247#5247 However, there is a noticeable (and annoying) delay, upon deiconifying, between the app window appearing and the app getting set back to the default layer. Is there a more elegant and faster way to do this? It'd be really nice if I could do something like a "Style * IconBox Layer 0 0". I actually wonder why this isn't the default setting too, as I cannot imagine why anyone would ever want their IconBox in the default layer. Thanks, Scott
