Hi, list, I think two URLs should be added to the "FVWM - Links" page (http://www.fvwm.org/links.php).
1) http://www.symphonyos.com/ Excerpt from 'http://www.symphonyos.com/about.html': ============================================================================== "Symphony OS is a Desktop computer operating system based on Debian GNU/Linux and Knoppix GNU/Linux. Rather than using the KDE or Gnome Desktop environments as most Linux distributions do, the Symphony OS team has created the revolutionary Mezzo Desktop environment." ============================================================================== And from 'http://www.symphonyos.com/mezzo.html' you can learn that this OS uses FVWM as its Window Manager. So, I think this OS have direct relation to the FVWM project and should be added to the Links page. 2) http://enlightenment.org/ Excerpt from 'http://enlightenment.org/Main/FAQs/#6': ============================================================================== "Enlightenment has a long and glorious past. When Raster was going attending University of New South Wales he began working with the newly released Xaw-Xpm. Leveraging Xaw-Xpm, he hacked up a new version of FVWM, which he called "FVWM-XPM". This new and improved FVWM allowed XPM images to be used in place of ugly Athena Widgets (FVWM started out in 1992 based on TWM). On Oct 30th, 1996, Raster released the first version of Enlightenment." ============================================================================== So, this WM is a FVWM derivative and it should be added to the section "Other Window Managers" of the Links page. Best wishes! P.S. I am currently not subscribed to the list, so please CC me your answers. P.P.S. Where I can download _compressed_ fvwm-(users|workers) mailing list archives? On ftp://ftp.fvwm.org/pub/fvwm/list-archive/ they are uncompressed and full of spam. I have only slow dialup, so for me size does really matter. If you can help, please provide me with an URL.
