Is FVWM (2.4.19) compatible with Solaris 5.10?
I haven't tried with Solaris 5.10 but it works great with Solaris
Express and a derivative called Nexenta OS.

At one point there were compile issues with 2.4 when using Sun's compiler.
If you're using gcc, which is included in Solaris 10, you shouldn't have
any problem building 2.4.19. I know the problems which were making cc
choke are fixed in the 2.5 branch, not sure if they were back ported.
I've been using FVWM since 2.5.12 on Solaris 10 SPARC. I currently have
packages for 2.5.16 built using Sun Studio 10 on a patched Solaris 10 FCS
SPARC. I've also built a package which hooks FVWM into dtlogin so you can
pick it from the session list at login. They work perfectly with Sun Ray
3.1 as well. If you're interested in the SPARC version let me know and
I'll make the packages available for download.
