It may be helpful to actually state somewhere how desks are supposed to
work. It is stated that there are both kinds but only Pages are beeing
explained.
You actually never explicitly specify how much desks you have:
DeskTopSize 1x1 # pages per desk
...
Key Right A CS GotoDesk 1 0 8
Key Left A CS GotoDesk -1 0 8
...
AddToFunc StartFunction
+ I Module FvwmPager 0 8 # pager shows 1x1*(8-0) pages
