FVWM: multiple keystrokes

In the FVWM FAQ 3.27 you describe two methods of binding multiple 
keystrokes to actions. My requirement is different. I want to be able to 
make a multiple keystroke sequence appear in a specified window (if it 
is active) as a single keystroke. For example I want the sequence 
"Ctrl+k Ctrl+x" to appear in the OpenOfficeWriter window as "Alt+x".

Can this be done with FVWM? Do you know of a utility that will allow me 
to accomplish this?
