Hello , I am using NG FP3 HF 1 on a Sun box version 8 64bit mode.The server is a Ultra 3 900 Mhz with 1 Gb of RAM. Users connect to the FW-1 using Securemote to connect to the MS-Exchange Server for downloading mails using MS-RPC.This is just too slow.Downloading 1 MB takes close to 10 minutes on a 52K Dialup.Encryption is IKE(AES128+SHA1).Clients connect in transparent mode and not office mode. I have tried various methods but in vain.What I have tried is 1.>Use MTUAdjust to adjust the MTU size from 1500 to 570. 2.>Make the FW-1 to fragement the encypted packet on Solaris using set fw:fw_ipsec_dont_fragment=0x0 3.>checked for any uncomaptible routers. 4.>This is not a cable or a DSL link.
The securemote downloads some files and after that the transfer is very slow or it hangs. Any suggestions to fix this problem. Does HF3 address this issue.
