So you can run VPNx on a multiprocessor machine without using a VPN
accelerator card?

That listing is only for hardware based accelerqation.

>From the firewall console:

vpn accel -d vpnx autostart on (to set autostarting)

The above should also be listed when using cpconfig


vpn accel -d vpnx stat -l  (to show status)

VPNx is a software based VPN-1 Accelerator for multiple CPUs machines It
works nicely for us.

In my Smartview status, VPN Acceleration is listed as off.  I have no
VPN accelerator daugter boards, but I do have the Performance Pack.
Should this be on (if so how?) or is this N/A for me?
