generic* has moved! He can now be defined as an externally managed
user.. new -> external user profile -> match for all users.

Subject: [FW-1] UUUppsy!!! Where did "generic*" go ????!!!!!!

Hi guys,

I have a question that maybe someone had allready asked and got a good
solution for it.

We have installed on a Linux RedHat a Firewall-1 NG FP3 with HF2.

We also want do use a RADIUS server for authenticating our users but we
got a new problem.

Until NG FP2 we were able to create the generic* user in order to auth
all our RADIUS/ACE/blah users.

Now with this release i get a "generic* is a reserved name" message!!!!

What is this? Reserved?? Where?

If it was a duplicate i could handle it but no, it's "reserved"! For
what?

Has anyone noticed this? Could anyone give me a hint about it? Any good
workaround to create a single "generic" user to auth my external users?

Please someone!!!

Best regards,

CS
