Try to add a new environment variable FWDIR and set it to
c:\winnt\fw1\4.1.

Subject: [FW-1] UPGRADE_EXPORT Error: FWDIR environment variable is not
set

I have an NT4 server with SP6 running Checkpoint 4.1 Build 41618 SP6.
I am trying to export the Databse so I can import it into my newly
created W2000 server with NG FP3. When I run the upgrade_export util,
I get the following:

C:\WINNT\FW1\4.1\bin>upgrade_export -d cd_db

The 'Export' operation will stop all Check Point services (cpstop).

They will restarted after completing the 'Export' operation.

Do you want to continue? (y/n) [n] ? y

 Error: FWDIR environment variable is not set. Please fix it and try
again

[ 68]@ InitEnv: InitFW1Env failed

I read article and added the \Bin directory to the path. It now shows:

Path=C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\winnt\fw1\4.1\bin

After doing this, I still get the same error??? Any ideas?
