Hi Joseph
Do you and your new remote SMART Client IP address as GUI Clients in the win2k
management server.
In your Win2k management server, go to start -> checkpoint SMARTConsole -> checkpoint
Configuration -> GUI Clients
add you new SMART Clients IP in the " Remote Hostname".

Subject: [FW-1] Check Point SMART Clients from remote location
My first post so please excuse any mistakes.
I any running NG FP3 on Nokia 650 IPSO 3.6, Mgmt Server is on Win2K.
I would like to mangement remotely but the SMART clients do not work. I look
at the logs on the Mgmt server and the connection is accepted, but the SMART client
responds with an "error finding server, please ensure system is up and running" (or
words to that effect).
Can anyone give me some hints on this?
Regards,
Joseph Charles-Walcott
