Patrick, I happen to solve this issue before. This is known bug for Checkpoint Firewall.
You have two choices: 1. Install Checkpoint Hotfix. This is covered in Secure Knowledge solution. 2. Design a timeout feature for your OpsecSession. After auto log switch, your OpsecSession actually hangs, and you can set a timeout var inside your main control thread to restart your mainloop thread if the sessions timeout. It works for me.
