You may want to talk to your legal department and/or the "Bureau of Industry and Security" which falls under the U.S. Department of Commerce for the latest information on the export regulations. I would not just take anybody's word on this since it could land you or your company in a very precarious position. I do know there are certain exemptions/licenses you can get (If the company and/or product qualify) if your company/product does not fall into the already exempted status.
