XP Home edition has a specific issue with mapping to SAMBA shares. It can map to regular Windows shares with no problems, but not SMB shares on Linux.
I recently went through the same issue. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Steck, Steffen M. Various sites tell me that XP Home can map network drives with domain users' credentials. SecuRemote (R54) is working fine on his box, he can access internal http resources but I do not get access to Samba shares. Has anybody else done this or seen the same problems? VPN-1 is also R54 on Nokia 3.7.1, SmartCenter on Solrais 9. Many thx for any input. ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
