Hi, We are thinking to purchase Sun's V240 for NG AI R55 to replace our current Solaris box. We currently do not have VPN up running for CheckPoint. For NG AI, we will let VPN and firewall running on the same box. We can't decide what accelerator card to purchase. For CheckPoint's VPN-1 accelerator card III, it has 400 Mbps IPSec throughput. Sun's SSL accelerator card (model 500 daughterboard) says to support both SSL and 3DES (I need AES instead).
My question is: Does CheckPoint's card support both 3DES (AES) and SSL acceleration? Does CheckPoint support (certify) Sun's accelerator card? Thanks in advance.
