To migrate the objects, policies, etc, put the installation cd in the Windows machine
and use the export/import routine CP has provided.

As far as the password issue, if you can log in at the server console, use the
available utilities to change the password, then try again. Failing that, reinstall
SPlat, since it only takes about 7 minutes.

We are running SmartCentre Pro R55 on Windows 2000 and would like to move
it to SecurePlatform R55.

- Could anybody tell us how to migrate Objests, Policies etc ?

- We can't login the SecurePlatform Web GUI. Each time we enter (correct
ID and password)
the srcreen returns to the same login window. In the
/opt/CPshrd-R55/log/cp_http_server.elg it says:
rand_add_seedfile: Failed to creat mutex. : Operation not permitted
rand_add_exernal_resource: Failed to creat mutex. : Operation not
permitted
fwrand_write_seed: Failed to creat mutex. : Operation not permitted

Anybody could tell what the problem is and how to fix it?

Many thanks,
