I believe this has to due with the Smart Defense and the allowed ICMP
packet size (64 is the default I think); if you check under the Smart
Defense control panel you can change the size and or disable it
completely at least with NG FP3 and above.

does "Attack info: Echo request too long" in the logs?  And how to stop
