Hi, a problem in our testlab...
System: SecureClient R56 on Windows XP, IP via DHCP Notebook in local net, not in VPN Domain.
Test: - Start Notebook, it gets an IP address from DHCP Server, SecureClient works as wanted, connect to VPN Domain after Login at Policy Server R55 ok.
- Send Notebook to StandBy - SecureClient disconnects from Policy Server. So far, so good.
- Wake up - Notebook doesn't get an IP from DHCP Server, timeout. Removed SecuRemote from Network Bindings, then it gets an IP... Rebound SecuRemote, try to connect DHCP server - timeout and the Notebook gets one of the default IP addresses again. Connected a second PC with 169.x.x.x by crossover - no ping between Notebook and PC possible, even if the default rule accepts it. ARP entries are there, so there is a physical connect...
So what can I do to get an IP from the DHCP server when XP with SecureClient wakes up?!?
Any hints are appreciated! Thanks in advance, Matthias
