I am attempting to run SmartCenter Reporter in a distributed environment. Checkpoint NGAI R55 HFA2. Management on Solaris 9 (64bit), modules on Nokia and Reporter on Windows 2K. In a distributed environ, the Reporter Add-on must be installed on the mgmt server. According to Checkpoint tech, the Reporter is not supported on Solaris 64bit only 32 bit. My problem is that my Sun v120 box will only run 64bit OS. I've been running the mgmt server on Solaris for a long time and really don't want to change it over to Windoze.
Anybody have any experience with the Reporting product in this type of environment? Any help or workarounds would be great.
