Hello, Should be possible. We've got a similar lab-setup using a P3 1GHz system as a primary management and a p2 300MHz as a secondary management.
Just make sure you are running the same versions of Check Point. Our current manager is a nokia ip330 running FW-1 NG FP3. Is it possible to set up the backup on an IP120 ? I know that this will be slow but it is purely for access to the firewalls in the event of a loss of the primary manager. Any suggestions or info on any known problems with this setup would be most appreciated.
