Hi,
I have partly sucessful in configuring an Edge X unit to work in a tradational mode
VPN environment.
The steps I have followed are these :-
1. Configured the Ege X unit with its WAN and LAN network details.
2. Configured Remote Management so that it can only communicate with a designated host
3. Added a user to enable remote management.
4. On SmartCenter applied HFA-05 and HFA-06
5. Enabled LSM (can not configure Service Center otherwise)
6. Define Edge Profile (without LSM)
7. Defined VPN-1 Embedded Device
- define name (anyone know why it is size limited so a FQDN can not be used?)
- IP address
- Profile
- Edge X series
- Registration Key
- Product Activation Code
- MAC address
8. On Edge unit configured Service Center and connected.
I have three Encryption Rules
Rule 6 Site A network -> Site B,C network Services-list and Encrypt
Rule 7 Site B,C network -> Site A network Services-list and Encrypt
When I try to verify the policy, I get the message that
Rule 6 encyption not supported on gateway (low medium high edge_profile)
Rule 7 encyption not supported on gateway (low medium high edge_profile)
Rule 12 encyption not supported on gateway (low medium high edge_profile)
Any suggestions how to procede?
