One nice thing about Nokia is single vendor support. If you have a hardware failure, OS problem, or Check Point issue, you can go to Nokia for support. No finger pointing. Also I like their OS a little bit better. Even though Sun and Check Point may not want to do product comparisons, I bet Nokia would love to. You could contact their sales force to get their opinion on Sun/SPLAT vs Nokia.
Overall I'm very happy with Nokia, and if you can afford the price jump, I think you will be too.
