Here is the procedrue i use:
1. Stop RainWall service on node2. Node1 is still running in production 2. Uninstall RW on node2 by doing pkgrm. At the end of the uninstall you will be prompted to keep the configuration. You will want to keep the configuration. 3. Install the newer build of RW, go through the install, at the end of the install it'll prompted you to run /opt/rainfinity/rain/bin/setup.sh. DO NOT RUN THE SETUP.SH script again as this will create a new rain.xml file. 4. Before you start RainWall service on node2. You will need to stop the RainWall service on node1. 5. Follow the same procedure to upgrade node1.

Hi all, I do not know whether it is approriate to ask about RainWall related issues here, but I would like to know whether I need to uninstall RainWall on Check Point firewall's cluster before upgrade to latest version or just install on top of it. I'm using Check Point FW-1/VPN-1 NG AI with RainWall 3.1 SP1 on firewall cluster. I would like to upgrade our RainWall to SP4. What is the correct way to upgrade RainWall?
Thanks for your help.
