I would suggest lowering MTU size also. Try below 1400 and see if it
helps. MTUAdjust will do this for you within the bin directory of
secureclient/securemote.

 I once had a user , having exactly the same problem,about six months
ago.
 I never tried this, put perhaps SAMBA SMB uses bigger packets, then
current
 available PMTU used by sec. client in combination with the Firewall.
 Try reducing PMTU size, I think sec. client has some tool for that.
 Check whether this helps.
