Hi, something confuses me. We have one enforcement, one management, R55. The gateway object is set to make a log switch at the predefined "midnight" time object (which is actually set to 23:59). The same applies to the management server's object.
Now these logs get stored with the wrong date in the filename. e.g. the logs containing all entries of sept 30th get stored in a file named 2004-09-29_235901.log. The only log entry in there that is actually dated to sept. 29 is the first one, the one saying that the logs have been switched to 2004-09-28. So it's always one day off. Time and date are set correctly on both machines. This is confusing because if you want to look at the logs of sept. 15th you will of course open the log with the filename 2004-09-15.log. But what you get in that case is sept. 16th. There is obviously something I don't understand here. Please help me shed some light on this mystery :-) Thanks, Sascha ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
