Resolution 15781: "Concurrent ping sessions to the Virtual IP and the Cluster Master's Physical IP are not allowed" Regards, Werner -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jason Cameron Sent: Monday, November 08, 2004 12:57 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [FW-1] Nokia Ip Clustering Hi All, I have a Nokia ip 330 NG AI with R54 cluster. One of my modules had been running a high cpu load due to 3 rogue processes. I decided to reinstall And keep the config as is on the new module and joined the existing cluster again with id 100. I have a problem , via the cluster manager everthing is working but I cant ping all 3 ip address of the cluster on any of my dmzs' Eg Ping int1 of fw -- Fw Module 1 Response Ping int2 of -- Fw Module 2 No Response Ping cluster ip of both Fw --- response The icmp pinging is not stable either you can ping the one interface and not the other. I should be able to ping all three. Any Ideas I am using " multicast" mode for the nokia Ip clustering and before the change I could ping all 3 ips eg fw1 int 1 , fw2 int1 , cluster ip Any idea's Thanks Jason Cameron Cell C (Pty) Ltd ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------- * E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Esher Place * Cell: + 27 84-777-9980 7 Federal Road, Sandhurst * Phone: + 27 11-324 9980 Johannesburg, South Africa * Fax: + 27 11-324-9000 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------- ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
