I'm trying to set up SPLAT as a proof of concept that it can replace our current Nokia firewalls (at a significant cost savings!) However, I'm having trouble getting OSPF working. I'm a bit of a newbie to Linux, so I could really use some simple instructions.
Splat appears to have zebra installed, as zebra -v tells me I'm on v0.93b. But where do I go from here? I cannot telnet to port 2601 on this box remotely (I understand that's the zebra admin port?) and the splat box itself seems to lack a telnet client?! Has anyone done this before? I just need to know how I get zebra and ospfd configured. I can handle things from there as I'm experienced with OSPF routing on Cisco and other routers.
