Our SPLAT systems (4 gateways and 1 firewall management station) are based
on HP DL360's (x3) and DL380's (x2).

With a standard Linux (Redhat for instance) install, the HPASM health
utility must be installed to monitor hardware status and fix a bug that
sets the fan speed to high speed as default.

What do similar users here do to monitor hardware (fan speed, temps, hard
drive/RAID status)?

Does SPLAT contain the fix to default the fan speed down to normal after boot?

Thanks in advance,

Alan
