We've been using SecureClient and SCV for a year and a half and have always checked to assure IP Forwarding is not enabled. About a month ago and continuing we got a rash of calls because SC was displaying this dialog box.
The problem was that the Windows Internet Connection Sharing service was started, which is quite perplexing because we disable that service when we install SecureClient and our users are Restricted users, so they cannot start it themself.
The only thing we can trace it to is that we have started deploying Microsoft's SUS system during the same time frame. We haven't been able to confirm this, so perhaps someone could chime in if they have had this problem. We are not deploying XP SP2 and a lot of these computers have been Windows 2000.
Anyway, if you start getting these messages, this is one of the causes.
