Hello:
Recently I put into operation two IP-380 in cluster mode. They
have 2 Gigabit Ethernet MMF and 8 FastEthernet ports, but I only use
both Gigas and three FEth ( one of them is the sync ). In one of the
Gigabit I configured 802.1q and has only one vlan allowed in a trunk.
All interfaces has VRRP and tracking the others..
The FloodGate package was deactivated to reduce in 10 % the CPU
usage. I create a new http service whit NOT synchronization between both
devices and it reduced 15 % de CPU usage. But I steel has a high CPU.
The boxes are working with 70 Mb of traffic in average.
And Has 1 Giga and 768 Mb of memory each one(shipping wrong) and I am
waiting for my memory :)
In this vmstat can see the problem.
