Do the clients have a desktop policy installed? -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Deanna Miller Sent: Wednesday, July 06, 2005 5:06 PM To: FW-1-MAILINGLIST@AMADEUS.US.CHECKPOINT.COM Subject: [FW-1] Cannot access Laptop running Secure Remote from internal network
I need to be able to access the laptops that are running secure remote when they are attached to the internal network at work. I cannot ping, map drive or see the laptops in Microsofts network browser. The laptops are a member of the domain and receive an ip address from the DHCP server. The laptops can ping and map drives to any resource on the internal network. But no workstation can get to their workstation. The laptops are running XP with Service Pak 2, but the Microsoft Firewall has been turned off; Microsoft File and Print Sharing are turned on. Running Checkpoint Firewall with Application Intelligance (R55) on a Windows 2003 server. The laptop is running Secure Client (R56), Office Mode. Thanks.
