Guys,
I have a question for folks in this group:
1) I have a Provider-1 NG with AI R55w running on
Solaris 9. In this
Provider-1, I have a CMA and this CMA manage a Gateway
Cluster with two
Cluster members running on SPLAT,
2) I have a standalone Customer Log Module CLM (aka
standale log Server)
NGx running on SPLAT. This CLM box gets log from from
SPLAT Gateway
Cluster above. Everything is working fine.
The problem I have is that somehow with NGx, I can
create only "one"
account from the CLI on the CLM box. I remember in NG
FP3 or NG with
AI R55, I can have multiple accounts on the CLM box.
This box,
AFAIK, is completely separate from my provider-1
environment.
I used to be able to create multiple accounts on the
CLM box because
multiple users are needed to log into the CLM box from
SmartView
Tracker. How can I do that in NGx CLM box?
The other problem is that, using NGx SmartDashboard, I
can log into
the NGx CLM box and bring up the Security policies.
How does that
happen? Isn't that a security breach? I only want
the account create
on the NGx CLM box only have access to the log only,
not even viewing
the security policies. Besides, the NGx CLM box is
only a logging
server, why does it have security policies on there?
I don't users on
the NGx CLM box to be able to view the policies.
Anyone care to comment?
