I delved a little further into the issue I posted about earlier, and have discovered that the reason CS-MARS is not talking to my SmartServer is due to the fact that the /opt/CPSuite-R60/conf/fwopsec.conf file doesn't have the OPSEC object, or any objects, listed within it. I have created the OPSEC application device, linked it to a host node, initialized and verified the SIC.
However, when I go to the CS-MARS appliance, that is the OPSEC client, and try to telnet to 18190, NGX closes the connection down. When looking through the logs I see the CPMI connection coming across, and being accepted. Anyone know why this would be happening? It seems as if the policy hasn't actually pushed down the OPSEC configuration.
