Hi

What kind of hardware is this?

I've had problems getting VLAN's to work on the internal NICs of
HP DL360/380.

I don't think those NIC's support VLAN. Atleast I couldn't get it
to work.

We always used Intel Quad NIC's in our firewalls and VLAN works perfectly
there. (If you use Intel quad cards make sure to update with the lastest
drivers from CP website.)

Regards,
Torkel

Emne: [FW-1] VLAN on SPLAT.

Hi Folks,

The FW has 3 segments
        1-Internet (eth1)
        2-DMZ, (eth2) and VLAN01 (eth2.2).
        3-Internal-Net (eth3).

VLAN is configured according to the CP.
Security rules, Anti-Spoofing etc.. are configured as
it is suppose to be.
I can do every thing as for as all physical interfaces
are concerned.

The only problem is, there is communication between
VLAN and all other Network. i.e, can ping, or can't do
anything, from dmz to vlan or any other segment.

There are rules for the communication etc..

Anyone has ever configured VLAN before?
Very much appreciated if you guys can give me a hint
here.

Thx,

Bill
