Hola Javier, muchas gracias, esto era lo que quería saber. -----Mensaje original----- De: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] nombre de Javier Hijas Enviado el: dijous, 30 / març / 2006 12:52 Para: [email protected] Asunto: Re: [FW-1] vlog files
Hola Marga, vlog file holds a table of current connections active through the firewall. As new connections are established, the active log database updates to include log events related to the connection. Similarly, as a connection is torn down, the active log database updates the system to remove the log event related to the connection. This log mode allows you to block active connections that you suspectare malicious. This file is the one loaded when you open the active tab in smartviewtracker, and as it only holds active connections it doesnt store history data that you should rotate. I guess *ptr files are internally used to find connections entries. Un saludo Marga Rosselló wrote: > Hello, > I would like to know which information is saved in the vlog file types > (.vlog, .vlogaccount_ptr, .vloginitial_ptr, .vlogptr). > My active vlog files started on 27/5/05.
