I recently did a new installation of NGX R60 HFA04 (SPLAT) for one of my
customers. The entire configuration was done from scratch (not importing
from any other installation) and we are now experiencing problems to get the
upgrade_export utility to work so we can get backups in case of a failure in
the SmartCenter machine.
I ran the proper command, the process seemed to start ok, but then after the
message that says it is "copying files to a temporary forlder", an error
came up:
"Failed to read local configuration info"
I have tried in different occasions, after restarting the Check Point
services and even after restarting the entire machine with no success. At
some point I thought it could be related with an issue with the original
utils and so downloaded their latest version from the CP site, but the same
error came up.
I have not found anything documenting this particular error in the SK, so
I'm wondering if anybody else has seen this problem in the past and maybe
could help me a bit.
I will really appreciate any assistance with this issue.
