Checkpoint gave us HFA19 (which included a newer version of fw.sys) which we have applied and we have also replaced the memory modules in our server with new modules. So far the server is behaving itself, but it is too soon to think the problem is 'fixed' given the nature of the problem. The BSOD crashes happened only Monday to Friday during office working hours and not every day so we are waiting for a good few days yet to see if the crisis is over.
Fingers (and everything else) all crossed ! No-one without source code access will be able to debug the issue. All anyone else could do is see if the dump location matched a known bug/fix they already had documented. Good luck! > We are still waiting for Checkpoint to get back to > us after we FTPed the dump file to them. Hopefully > we'll hear soon, although they've hardly been quick > so far.
