Hi, Like so much QoS (FloodGate-1), costs for a licence. You could consider using Cisco QoS, this can be implemented on your lan switches to shape, police, priortise traffic, before it reaches your firewall, as implementing Qos on the firewall will give a performance issue. You can also implement Qos on the cisco router to perform the same task in bound or from the firewall/dmz/vpn segments etc. There is also a range on inline transparent WAN qos hardware devices you can buy.

Good afternoon, I am considering adding Floodgate to my Checkpoint arsenal. I am looking for some tools to assist with traffic management and priority. Does anyone have any strong opinions on Floodgate? Deborah K.
