There is nothing in the Web interface to enable or configure SNMP. You
need to SSH to your SPLAT and run the "snmp" command
[SPLAT]# snmp
Usage:
snmp service enable [<portnumber>]
snmp service disable
snmp service stat
snmp user add authuser <username> pass <authpassphrase> [priv
<privpassphrase>] [oidbase <OID>]
snmp user add noauthuser <username> [oidbase <OID>]
snmp user del <username>
snmp user show [<username>]
an example of adding an SNMPv2 community would be
"snmp user add noauthuser public"
To enable the service
"snmp service enable"

Subject: [FW-1] Getting SNMP running on SPLAT
Hi all,
Can someone help me finding information on how to get SNMP running on
secure
platform? We are running it on our management station and would like to
collect some info like cpu, disk space...etc
Thanks in advance..
